How to win at roulette
Winning roulette is not as difficult as most players believe, and it's anything but impossible to beat. It's just that most players go about it all wrong, and develop strategies that literally cannot win, at least over a significant number of spins. Any strategy can win over a short sample of spins, but it is precisely a system's ability to produce a profit over a much larger amount of spins that makes a system genuinely effective. With roulette being such a widespread and very popular casino game, as you can imagine there have been many attempts to develop winning strategies. It is said that there are more methods that attempt to beat roulette than for any other casino or gambling game. With that being said, when developing systems it is perhaps wise to first look historically at whether or not roulette has ever actually been beaten. In answer to the question "has it ever been beaten", the answer is unequivocally yes. But how? . . . To any roulette professional, it is not a question of whether or not roulette is predictable, but more of which method should be used. Despite the popularity of online gambling, no player in history has ever developed a winning strategy that would "milk" the online RNG (software) casinos until he player were simply banned from play. However, indeed many techniques have been devised that are effective enough to sustain long term profitability on real wheels, to the point where a roulette player may very well be banned. Now you may ask "if that's true, then why aren't the casinos out of business? . . . The answer is simply that roulette is still a profitable game for casinos because for every 1000 losers, there may be perhaps 1 player that is actually applying a strategy that actually wins in the long term. Moreover, if a casino detects a player that is winning abnormal amounts, and doing so consistently, it is extremely easy to ask the player to leave which is common and legal practice because the casino is private property, and the operators reserve the right to refuse entry to any player without explanation. The one exception is if the casino is owned by a government, rather than being privately owned. In such a case, the casino staff do not have the legal right to refuse entry or service to any player without legal or just reason, which would be the player actually breaking the law. However, in most cases, casinos are privately owned. Think of it from a privately owned casinos perspective: they know roulette can be beaten with a variety of methods. For every 1000 losers, there may be perhaps 1 player that is winning consistently. It is the job of casino surveillance not only to check on their own staff for stealing, but also to monitor any suspicious winnings. It is ok for a player to win, and indeed casinos need players to win at roulette once in a while to keep them returning. Winning only becomes something that requires attention when it is constant. |
Step 1: Developing a Winning Strategy
1. Visual Ballistics: visually determining where the ball is most likely to land. 2. Bias Analysis: determining if the wheel exhibits any kind of mechanical flaw or physical defect that would increase the predictability of spins. 3. Roulette Computers: electronic tools that establish the timings and deceleration of the wheel and ball to determine where the ball is most likely to fall. 4. Various other wheel pattern analysis techniques. 5. Dealer signature There are a number of roulette computers available via the Internet, although extreme caution should be exercised when considering a purchase as the sellers, like gambling system sellers, tend to be dishonest about their own products, and their competition. Additionally, computer players must be very careful about where they play as such cheating devices are often illegal. Surprisingly though, application is legal in around half of the casinos world-wide, although their use is not welcome and you'll most certainly be asked to leave the premises if the casino believes you are using a computer. For those that aren't "game" enough to use covert electronics, there are the other proven effective methods listed above. The roulette strategy review page lists a few individuals who either supply material or teach players to apply these techniques. Alternatively, you can develop your own techniques. You cannot realistically expect a technique to be effective in all conditions and on all wheels, but you can expect the techniques to be effective and practical in enough circumstances for them to be viable. If you are looking for the hold grail roulette strategy that will earn you millions while being blindfolded, you are wasting your time. |
Step 2: How to Avoid Detection by Casino Surveillance
For example, with visual ballistics you are required to bet after the ball is released. You then need to observe the wheel for a few seconds, make your calculations, then place your chips. This process is a dead giveaway to a well-trained pit boss. Betting after the ball is release is permitted in most casinos for a number of reasons, but mainly because it speeds up the game. And the faster the game moves, the quicker players lose and free up space for other "losers". So it is truly in the casino's best interests to permit betting after ball release. However, if the pit boss or dealer notices a player is consistently betting after the ball release, and appears to be winning a suspicious amount, the dealer will then waive off bets earlier. Such reactions from casinos are called "countermeasures", and they can serious thwart visual ballistics players. For casinos, the application of countermeasures is far more preferable than simply kicking you out because they see you as potential revenue. And they know that a simply change such as calling no more bets earlier will mean you either leave, or start to lose. Sounds like winning roulette is a lost cause? It's anything but that because the casino cannot possibly monitor every player's betting strategy and assess their potential for being professional players. While casino staff are trained to keep an eye out for such players, generally they do not concern themselves with a player's betting strategy until they notice they are winning a suspicious amount, and a player should be well and truly out of the casino before they reach this stage. If a player is greedy, eventually they will be detected. Furthermore, there are countless specific techniques that make it virtually impossible for casinos to determine if a player was just lucky or a professional player, although it makes little sense to divulge this information here, where casinos can regularly access. The edge really belongs to the player if they know exactly what they're doing. |
